Visiting students are students who pay the application, tuition and all other fees directly to the Ewha International Summer College. While recommended to seek prior approval from their home institution, especially if planning to transfer credits back, visiting students may participate in the EISC programs on an individual basis. Unless requested otherwise, official transcripts, upon successful completion of the program, will be sent to the student directly.

Exchange students are those whose home institutions have an exchange agreement with Ewha and have made arrangements with the EISC. The application and tuition fees are waived for exchange students, while all other fees are paid to the EISC. Students must be officially "nominated" by their home institution coordinator to join as an exchange student; the nomination must be approved before the student's application is reviewed. Official transcripts for exchange students are sent to their home institution.
