Founded in 1971, Ewha International Summer College is Korea’s oldest summer program at the university level. Now, every year we are happy to receive around 300 international students from all over the world including more than 70 universities across about 20 countries.

40 plus courses are offered in diverse disciplines encompassing Arts & Music, Social Sciences, Business & Economics, Humanities, Science & Engineering, Korean Studies, East Asian Studies, etc. Our field trip destinations include making Korean food, K-Pop dance, Gyeongbokgung Palace, visiting entertainment company, temple stay, Lotte World & Lotte Tower, and Nanum house visits.

Many of you may be totally newcomers to the university and to the City of Seoul. It must have been an adventure for many of you to fly hundreds or thousands of miles away from home to join us. Regardless of your level of familiarity with the campus and the City, our staffs at the Summer College and the Office of International Affairs at Ewha are ready to assist each of you in answering questions and guiding your life at Ewha. Friends and knowledge you will have gained at EISC will stay with you throughout your life journey for expanding your horizons.

We hope your experiences with us will make you more culturally mature and make your future academic and career life more global. On your greater understanding and broader perspective and deeper respect for humanity and cultural diversity, the future of global society will depend.
