[Updated 11/10/20] In view of the current prolonged and significant uncertainties surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Ewha International Summer College is paying close attention to guidelines from the Korean government and WHO in order to decide whether we will be able to operate our 2021 summer program. The safety of our students and staff is our first priority. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide more information as it becomes available.

Session 2 is a 2-week course in Introductory Korean Studies. This short session provides an enriching opportunity to learn Korean language, culture and society.
Students participate in a pre-tailored academic program and engage in hands-on learning through field trips and cultural excursions to places rich in traditional and contemporary Korean culture.
All participants also go on an overnight ‘Special Cultural Excursion Trip’ to experience authentic Korean culture in Pyeong Chang, the city of 2018 Winter Olympics, with various experiences such as visiting the Samyang Ranch and Woljeongsa Temple, tasting traditional local meals and enjoying the scenic wonders of Korea.
For a hint of modern Korea, there will be excursions to visit MBC World, watch a Korean movie at CGV theaters, visit SM Town, experience temple food, learn K-pop dance just to name a few!
